Dave, and many other family members, loves sourdough bread! It has been his wish to have a starter. Many years ago, I obtained a starter that was years old and supposedly from some San Francisco bread artisan. Somewhere between taking care of the house, kids, husband, etc... it died. Recently Dave has obtained a new sourdough starter, once again San Francisco style! He has been perfecting the bread and starter to the point of creating the above pieces of art. Better yet, they are edible art! The sourdough pizza was incredible, even at 11:00PM! This bread has filled the void from our cord cut bread machine! Bon Appetite!
