Congratulations Kierstin!!
I think our family will be banned from any future Boynton Beach Ward pinewood derby contest. Kierstin took 1st, David's Star Wars Sorusuub X-35 landspeeder 2nd, Steven's car from last year 3rd, Jessica's Razor phone car 5th and Stevens Shark car 6th. (His 2nd loss was to his own car from last year which was being raced by his friend, Jacob!) The kids had a blast seeing their cars race! Dave was pleasantly surprised to see the cars perform as well as they did. He spent MANY hours fine tuning the cars so they would drive straight! The kids designed, cut, sanded, and painted their own cars. Jessica and her friend Emma, created the design and worked together on the Razor phone. Steven got a little design help from Dave, doesn't the shark look realistic!
