CHICKEN POX????

Nope, just a REALLY bad case of mosquito and noseum bites! Dave had 1100 bites. I did no even count David's. He had more. When he came in the door Saturday afternoon, his elbows and upper arms were completely red from the bites. Dave and the scouts went to Elliott Key in Biscayne National Park Friday and Saturday. The mosquitos were extremely thick! Dave said one of the leaders had a baseball cap on and all you could see on the brim was black from the mosquitos! When the rain fly was off the tent, instead of a nice view of the moonlit night, they saw swarms of mosquitoes on the mesh! Even better....imagine how one mosquito sounds buzzing near your ear. Now multiply that by a thousand. This was the lullaby music the scouts listened to as they tried to sleep inside a hot, muggy, tent. This is why I don't camp in Florida during August!!!
