So how cold is it anyway???

I have had many people ask me how cold it is here in Florida...

So cold we have had to turn the heat on inside the house!

So cold, even Jessica asked to have the heat turned on.

So cold Jessica and I both used the seat heaters on our way home from her soccer game!

So cold, the thermometer reads 45 degrees at noon!

So cold, I have to wash laundry every other day because we own only so many warm clothing items!

So cold, Dave and Karen wear their stylish 80's sweaters, as Jessica calls them!

So cold, for so long that 61 degrees feels downright balmy and perfect weather to hit the beach!

So cold, South Florida is under a freeze warning!

So cold, Steven prayed for rain so it would snow!

So cold, it might actually snow in central and even South Florida today and tonight (1/9/10 and 1/10/10)!

So cold, that farmers have had to cover their crops to prevent freezing.

So cold, we have a real reason to consume hot chocolate for breakfast and dinner!

So cold, we needed our winter coat AND a blanket to stay warm while watching Jessica's soccer game this last week!

The best one yet, Dave received an email from working stating the following, "Due to the current cold spell and our building's lack of heat, we recommend you dress appropriately!" Can you believe? No heaters in the building!

Dave did dress appropriately. However, he did say that in his area filled with cubicles and computers, the temperature was quite nice. Upon stepping into the hallways, one could tell the difference!
