Ok....so it is the end of September and Dave mentions that he needs a vacation. Thinking how marvelous that sounds yet I push the idea to the side as it seems, school has just started. However, after 2 days pass and Dave still is wishing for a vacation, I know he means business. After all, we did not take a family vacation this summer and Dave works long days and even longer weeks. So, on a Friday we book a cruise for the following week to the Eastern Caribbean. After all, there are a few benefits of living in Florida. One is AWESOME winter weather, the other is last minute cruise deals.
Bon Voyage!! We left the Miami skyline behind in exchange for the Eastern Caribbean!
Before exploring the many wonderful ports, we had a few days to enjoy the onboard activities. The Flowrider was an instant hit with our family. Every morning Dave and Jessica were awake by 7 so they could be at Flowrider by 8 with their surfing buddies!
You may ask where Steven was while we were all at the Flowrider. He had a blast ice skating, climbing on the rock wall, joining his age group activities, and playing miniature golf.
Kierstin even was caught scaling the wall!
